Archery is a bit more than a random sport practiced on your tod in the middle of a field. It is a step back into your past, discovering how things used to be done. Learning to draw and release a bow is an instinctive task that can come back to you very easily.
Many indigenous cultures such as Amazonian tribes-people still use archery to hunt on a daily basis-so the skills to use a bow very effectively are somewhere buried in your genes.
Our archery lessons concentrate on helping you to relax, get in tune with your breathing and ‘in the zone’. The arrows and the target come later- and when you are more relaxed, they are a lot quicker to play ball.
Archery is a solo sport, but one works well for a group of people out for a day together and it can be incredible fun for children and adults alike. It is easy to adapt for wheel-chair users and people with accessibility needs. In fact archery creates a level playing field among people and is generally a non-competitive and encouraging sports environment.
